SilverHawks Retro Tribute Digital Art
It's 1986, and something exciting has just aired on Saturday mornings. The SilverHawks cartoon introduced viewers to high-tech gadgets, cool heroes in silver-chrome armor, and captivating sci-fi elements, which were fresh and appealing to its young audience. The action figures, made by Kenner, were even better, featuring chromed plastic mirror finishes.
Here, I've drawn the group's leader, Quicksilver, but with my own unique twist. While many fans have created iterations of Quicksilver true to the comics, cartoon, or merchandise, I wanted to offer a fresh, updated look to the armor, bringing a new spin to this nostalgic franchise.
